Why DOGE is the best hope for opensource government ... imho
So, many people in the tech world seem to just hate all things to the right. It is a very left centric group, at least the most vocal members. Because of this, they tend to operate with blinders on and don't look at opportunity. With the creation of DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) there is a much better chance than in the past to push change in the government. That is, if they do as they say they will. Thoughts on Ukraine and Escalation
I'm thinking about war this morning, specifically Russia and Ukraine. Many people seem to write off the nuclear possibilities, I don't think they have a clue. There is one piece, in particular, that is close to my he...

Linking Combat and my Faith
Your story... I joined the Baha’i Faith in 2010. After a childhood growing up Catholic, my stint in high school as a proclaimed atheist, to a seeker after my time in the army, finally finding and falling in love with the Baha’i Faith. As I now read the history of the faith and its writings, I think back to being a soldier. On March 20th, 2003, I crossed over the border from Kuwait to Iraq for the first time. I was a ball of fear, excitement, and wonder all rolled up in one. I spent most of the...
